University of Central Florida Offering Free Workshops for Spanish Speakers With Children With Special Needs
Tagged: children, Florida, Orlando, parentsPosted on: February 27th, 2007“More than 20 parents and 19 children attended the first of four Spanish workshops at UCF for parents of children with special needs.
The three-hour sessions offer important information and insight into the Individual Education Plan, the most important document for special needs children in public schools. IEPs outline children’s diagnoses, what services they will get and goals for them to attain. They provide a road map for navigating through school.”
