Artists revisit bolero legend Bola de Nieve - Francisco Céspedes’ new album Con el Permiso de Bola

“In his 20s Bola de Nieve went to Mexico to play piano for Cuban singer Rita Montaner and became a huge success, often referring to that country as his second home.

Today, Francisco Céspedes, another Cuban singer who has found success in Mexico, is releasing Con el Permiso de Bola Warner Latina a collection of songs Bola de Nieve made famous. The album is a collaboration with the brilliant Cuban pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba who now lives in Coral Springs, so its as if these two performers have come together to re-create the art of the singularly talented Bola.”
