“Organizers of an immigration summit in Marshalltown on Monday hope it provides a better understanding of U.S. policy and sparks a national grass-roots discussion on reform.
The idea for the event came after federal immigration officials in December raided the Swift & Co. packing plant and detained nearly 100 workers.”
