IU Study: Indiana Struggles to Integrate Latinos Into Communities

“A new study by Indiana University found that inconsistency and debates over immigration are hampering efforts to allow Latinos to become fully integrated into communities. The study found that the Mexican population in Indiana is growing faster than that of any U.S. border state and every Indiana neighbor except Kentucky. The study makes recommendation, including the need for better collaboration between community leadership, local businesses, state agencies and schools.”
