“The most anticipated Latina beauty pageant of the year takes place on Friday, March 9. La Chica Lider is the most prestigious Latina beauty pageant in the Carolinas.

La Chica Lí­der is designed to motivate young Latinas, give them recognition for the role they play in our society, provide scholarships, and promote unity among the different ethnic groups in our community.

La Chica Lí­der is the most anticipated Latina beauty pageant of the year, where creativity, fashion, and beauty culminate into a fantastic evening. This year, the cast of La Fea Más Bella” the Mexican version of the popular TV soap opera Ugly Beauty will crown the winner of this coveted title. The young ladies will also be serenaded by the popular and award winning singer Jose Jose. Reggaeton sensation Angel & Khriz will perform their latest hits. The event will be hosted by Tony Dandrades from Univisions, Primer Impacto; and Fashion Critic Rodner Figueroa. The event will culminate with the performance of Conjunto Atardecer.

The cities of Greenville and Charlotte will host this great family event. Contestants from different counties of North and South Carolina compete for this coveted title. La Chica Lí­der will take place on Friday, March 9th at the Civic Center in, Greenville SC, and Saturday, March 10th Palomino Night Club in Charlotte, NC.

The pageant is nationally recognized and has been featured in several Univision television programs.
