“A former Manatee County Health Department doctor who is suing that agency for discrimination will likely take his case to trial.

Dr. Jaime Rubio said in a suit filed in April that the county department fired him after he raised concerns that the agency mistreated Latino clients and also failed to hire Latino employees.”
