Inside, the club was crowded: an eight-piece Latin band was playing, people were dancing and drinking tequila cocktails. It was, as little as the scene may have looked it, an opening- night party for a new Off Broadway musical.
The young man approached the large bouncers out front. “Let me in,” he said, laughing. “Im the guy who wrote the play.”"
