Del Toro effect lifts Spanish language films – Sales of pics from Spain and Latin America pick up

It gave an unexpected leg-up to Spanish pic sales.
Spains hottest sales ticket, Jose Antonio Bayonas ghost tale “The Orphanage,” sold Stateside to Picturehouse by Wild Bunch, was co-produced by Del Toro, who waxes lyrical in a brochure about its merits.”
