“The Capital Region will soon have a Spanish-language newspaper, another sign of the growing strength of the areas Hispanic community.
Registro New York, as the bimonthly paper will be called, will share Troy offices with The Record newspaper and is an offshoot of a New Haven, Conn., publication of the same name. With its first edition planned for March 2, Registro will be published by the Yardley, Pa.-based Journal Register Co., owner of both The Record and The Saratogian in Saratoga Springs, as well as the New Haven Register in Connecticut, from which Registro takes its name.”
