Hes been held ever since, and its not clear when he will be released.
His wife, Carmen, has remained in Texas to fight for his freedom. In Madison, their daughters Sandra, 23, and Carmen, 27, are running the businesses, reaching out to politicians and trying to bring attention to their fathers situation. “I never thought such a thing could happen to our family,” said daughter Carmen, a U.S. citizen like her mother and siblings. “This is our country. Why is it failing us?”"
