Tagged: Michigan, populationPosted on: February 12th, 2007“The Hispanic American Council this week will celebrate the opening of its new Kalamazoo offices in the former St. Joseph School, a home its director says will allow for expanded services to Kalamazoo County’s growing Hispanic population.
An open house at the new offices, which have moved just a few blocks from Portage Street to 930 Lake St., will start at 6 p.m. Thursday with unveiling of a new office sign and a blessing of the office by Father John Peter Ambrose of St. Josephs Church. The councils annual meeting, with a keynote address by Winnie Hernandez-Gallegos of the Fetzer Institute, will follow and is open to the public.”
