“DFW International Airport today announced that Frontier Airlines will offer new international service from Dallas-Fort Worth to Mazatlan, one of Mexicos top tourist destinations. Frontiers new service will begin on June 7, flying three days a week with rates as low as $178 for a round trip ticket.

“This new destination from DFW adds to our already robust service to Mexico and gives our passengers an incredible new place to vacation on the Pacific Coast,” said Jeff Fegan, chief executive officer of DFW International Airport. “DFWs international travel options continue to grow and were delighted that Frontier is expanding at our Airport.”

The new service will operate three flights a week, on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Frontier Airlines plans to fly the route with its new Airbus A319 aircraft, which boast DIRECTV offerings at every seat and 33 inches of legroom.

“This expansion is a milestone for DFW with another low cost carrier taking the leap to cross the border,” said Joe Lopano, executive vice president of marketing and terminal management at DFW. “I expect this service to endear itself to North Texas travelers quickly and we look forward to having even more Frontier Airlines international traffic in the years to come.”

Mazatlan becomes the 15th Mexican destination available via nonstop service from DFW. Frontier Airlines added DFW to its list of 10 other domestic airports around the country currently serving international destinations.

“Mazatlan, one of our first Mexican resort destinations, has also been one of our most popular since we began serving it from Denver in 2002,” said John Happ, senior vice president of marketing and planning for Frontier Airlines. “While the pristine beaches and rich heritage of Mazatlan are enough to sell most North Texas passengers looking for a relaxing vacation at a top international resort, we are confident that the low fares and best-in-class service that Frontier offers will make it a great value as well.”

Reservations for the new $178 round trip rate to Mazatlan can be made at www.frontierairlines.com/ , and the introductory fares will be available until March 28, 2007.
