“It started out, prosecutors say, as an “alien rip-off.”

Some 30 people, sneaking illegally into the United States, were abducted from their original smugglers and held hostage by others hoping to profit on the desire of their own compatriots to find a better life in the United States.

Thats just part of the scenario outlined by a startling federal grand jury indictment filed in Wichita by the U.S. attorneys office for Kansas.”
