“Al Borde once again positions itself as a pioneer in Latin Alternative entertainment as the award-winning newspaper hosts its 2007 “Acoustic Sessions” concert series. The event will kick off on Friday, March 30th at the Al Borde Lounge in Norwalk, California, and will feature a musical performance by none other than Spanish rock legends Volumen Cero.
Al Borde’s 2007 “Acoustic Sessions” is a series of four intimate concerts featuring exclusive performers for an exclusive audience. In addition to Volumen Cero, Latin Alternative rock group Pastilla is also set to perform on one of the shows. Each concert will be held in a private setting with an audience consisting of Al Borde readers, Latin Alternative entertainment industry members, sponsors, designers, and advertising agency members.
“For ten years now, Al Borde has kept a commitment to provide quality content on only the edgiest Latin Alternative entertainers,” states Melvin Ortiz, Al Borde’s New Media Development Manager. “This commitment has resulted in a loyal readership made up of young, educated, alternative music aficionados. Our Acoustic Sessions concert series is another way of bringing sponsors face to face with this hard to reach consumer segment.”
Beginning on March 30th, 2007, concerts will be held every quarter thereafter during the months of June, August and December. Monster Beverage Company is the first sponsor to sign on and take advantage of the opportunity to reach this select demographic.
Al Borde is a free bi-weekly publication that reaches young and trend-setting 18- to 34-year-old Hispanics. Since 1997, Al Borde has maintained a high standard in design and content quality and will continue to break new ground by adding new multimedia solutions for clients and readers to enjoy. The publication is rapidly becoming a leading Latin Alternative multiplatform company that offers advertising opportunities through sponsor events, section sponsorships, street team promotions, web sites, and mobile services. “
