“t may be awhile, if ever, before proposed legislation to make English the official language of Oregon sees the light of day.

The bill, HB2459, is not a high priority for the House Elections, Ethics and Rules Committee, where it was assigned last month, said committee chairwoman and state Rep. Diane Rosenbaum, D-Portland.”
