Nokia Boosts Marketshare in Latin America

“Finland-based Nokia, the worlds largest manufacturer of wireless phones, is growing strongly on all fronts in Latin America. Its boosting unit sales, revenue and market share. And one country in the region - Brazil - even made the worldwide top 10 list for 2006 sales. And

All in all, Nokia posted net sales of approximately $4.8 billion in Latin America last year, according to Latin Business Chronicle calculations based on indirect data from Nokia. Latin America accounted for 9 percent of its 41.1 billion euro sales last year, according to Maurizio Angelone, senior vice president of Nokia Latin America.”
