Knowledge is Power!
“In October 2005, the National Football League played its first regular-season game outside the United States. It drew 103,467 people in Mexico City. The league expects huge audiences this year for a preseason game in Beijing and a regular-season game in London.
But as the N.F.L. has worked to extend its reach globally, it has run headfirst into a language barrier in its own country. Just a few miles from Sunday’s Super Bowl XLI, the league’s championship game in this largely Hispanic city, is a market of fans that has barely been tapped.”
