“Medical students learn a lot more than “hola” through a medical Spanish course.

“Anywhere in the United States physicians really need to know basic medical Spanish,” John Walden, professor and associate dean of the school of medicine, said. Walden said physicians need to be able to ask a patient where they are hurting and get a brief medical history.”
