"Overall, Michigan is experiencing an upward trend in the Hispanic population," said state Rep. Lee Gonzales, D-Flint Township. "It's for economic opportunity."

"There's been a tremendous impact in Oklahoma City," said David Castillo, the executive director of the Greater Oklahoma City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
