Knowledge is Power!
“A Utah legislative committee passed a new bill on Wednesday which would give local police officers the authority to crack down on illegal immigrants and get them deported — something they cannot legally do now.
Under the proposal, certain law officers would be allowed to enforce immigration laws, regardless of the circumstances in which the suspect is found to be illegal. For example, if a police officer stops an immigrant on a traffic violation, the officer could legally detain that person and perhaps get them deported.”
