“A set of banners with the image of Cesar Chavez will grace the halls of the National Chavez Center beginning today, when city officials donate the artwork to Chavez’s family.

City Council members and 30 children from Graves Middle School in Whittier will leave this morning on a two-hour trek to Keene, outside Bakersfield, where they will present the banners to the Cesar Chavez Museum and Library, which is part of the National Chavez Center.”
