Telemundo’s “Concierto Clandestino’ Comes to New York - Live Perfomances by: Tego Calderon, La India, Reik, Belinda - Thursday February 1st, 2007 8:00pm Hammerstein Center, New York City

“The tri-state area is ready to receive 4 of the biggest names in Latin music superstars for “Concierto Clandestino” Clandestine Concert, a reality show that follows the paths of four participants from four different cities””Los Angeles, Miami, Houston, and New York””as they organize, produce, and promote a series of concerts sponsored by the Nissan and Sprint companies in their respective cities. Telemundo’s cameras will record each step taken by these future show promoters for “Concierto Clandestino,” which is a segment on the channel’s variety show “Ní­tido.”

Concierto Clandestino will count with live performances by reggaeton superstar “Tego Calderon”, salsa diva “La India”, Latin pop sensations “Reik” and “Belinda”. Telemundo’s cameras will record each step taken by these future show promoters for “Concierto Clandestino,” which is a segment on the channel’s variety show “Ní­tido”

Young Dominican Wagner Mateo””better known in the tristate area as “DJ Frikkiao,” disc jockey and event promoter through his company FiestaCaliente.com””was chosen from among many applicants to represent the city of New York on this exciting reality show. The news of his selection has been met with great enthusiasm on the streets of New York and New Jersey among those anticipating this sensational event. Mateo explained, “At the beginning of this show, I was promoting a concert that I knew very little about the artist, venue and date. Yet, I managed to get people excited. Now that all that information has been revealed to me, it’s time to spread that information using various methods and pack the place to capacity. Now that I know the artist lineup, it’s time to work and get people even more excited than before!”

The first New York segment of Concierto Clandestino, will begin air on “Ní­tido” on the following schedule:

Sunday February 11th, 2007 (New York Segment)
– Sundays 12:00 p.m. Eastern time / 11:00 a.m. Central time
– Saturdays 1:30 p.m. Eastern time / 12:30 p.m. Central time (repeated)

The concert will air as part of a 2 Hour special on Telemundo and Mun2 Networks at the end of the reality show series. “
