“Coors Brewing Company will donate $1,000 to the American National Council, the Miami-based organization, for each touchdown scored during the first Tazon Latino I Latino Bowl I presented by Coors LightR. Coors will present a check to the charity after the game. The funds will support the American National Councils leadership development program.

“Strong leadership is the key to furthering the goals of the Hispanic community,” said Rafael Fantauzzi, director of Hispanic corporate relations at Coors. “Coors donation will support the Hispanic community by promoting the development of leaders in Miami and nationwide.”

“For over two decades we have engaged students and upcoming community leaders in developing comprehensive leadership skills,” said Guarione M. Diaz, president and chief executive officer of the American National Council (CNC). “CNC believes that leaders who care for others, share strong ethical values and understand diverse communities will rise to the challenges of today’s America. As we face this global and complex 21st century, we thank Coors for its vision in supporting leadership programs in our community.”

Tazon Latino I is the first-ever flag football game between Hispanic celebrities and ex-NFL players and will air nationally on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007 at 5 p.m. EST/PST. The game will be hosted by personalities Karim Mediburu and Alejandro Blanco.

Some of the game participants include Marcus Allen, Anthony Munoz, Eric Dickerson and Fuad Reveiz. Musicians Frankie J and will perform live at the game. The game will be filmed at the NFL Experience outside the Dolphins Stadium on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007.
