Miami planning Orange Bowl party after Castro’s death

Cuban-American City Commissioner Tomas Regalado came up with the idea. The Orange Bowl was the site of a speech by President Kennedy in 1961 promising a free Cuba. It was also used in the 1980s to house Mariel boatlift refugees.”
