“The views of Caracas, Venezuela, were spectacular that day a couple of years ago when Ana Norgaard and Rebecca Cline hiked to the top of nearby Avila Mountain.

The result? Obbini Tumbao, one of the hottest Latin jazz outfits on the Boston scene. The name, roughly translated, means a woman who grooves or swings to the beat. But Obbini Tumbao will perform with some swinging and grooving men Tuesday night at the Regattabar. “
