“A communications professor has taken over the University of Central Florida’s Latin American Studies program, seeking to change course after the minor field of studies failed to attract students.

Jose Maunez Cuadra heads the university’s Latin American, Caribbean and Latino Studies Program — which has had an increased focus on U.S. Latinos since it was revamped two years ago on an interim basis to help boost enrollment.”
