The Farm Beginningsâ„¢ program of The Land Stewardship Program (http://www.landstewardshipproject.org) in Minnesota is inviting Latinos/as interested in farming to join a farm tour and workshop on farming at Dry Weather Creek near Milan, Minn. ( on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The purpose is to evaluate the interest among the Latino/a population in farming and to introduce them to a working farm and the issues associated with this profession. The presentations will be given in Spanish. The tour/workshop is free of charge and lunch will be provided.
