Study helps schools teach Hispanic students – Georgia

Tagged: , , ,

“Gwinnett County Public Schools officials say they have used the results of a consulting project conducted by a state Board of Education member to reach out to a growing Hispanic student population.

State Board of Education Member Jose Perez, the president of business consulting firm Target Market Trends, has worked for the district since 2002, when he began studying ways to close the Hispanic achievement gap. The project has evolved into a study that includes finding ways to address the needs of English language learners, according to documents obtained by the Gwinnett Daily Post through an Open Records Act request.”
