Re-2 receives $23,000 grant to assist in education of Hispanic students – Aspen, Colorado

Helping the district is the Aspen Community Foundation ACF. The school district received a $23,000 grant from ACF to provide funds to expand the resources needed to aid in the education of the Hispanic community that attends schools within the district. Funding of $15,000 will be used for expanding the parent liaison position at Rifle Middle School, currently held by Lupita Pina, $5,000 will be used for staff development and $3,000 will be to purchase translation headsets.”
