Posted on: January 24th, 2007“Hispanic PR Wire and the Public Relations Society of America PRSA today announced that they will join forces to launch an unprecedented 15-city nationwide program of professional development breakfasts called the “2007 Hispanic Public Relations and Marketing Strategies Tour.” The tour, which kicks off January 25 in Miami with the PRSA Miami Chapter, is expected to visit such cities throughout the year as Atlanta, Washington, DC, New York, Houston, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles, among others.
“These professional development breakfasts will give dozens of participating PRSA Chapters and their members an opportunity to learn in-depth about Hispanic and multicultural public relations strategies,” said PRSA Chair and Chief Executive Officer Rhoda Weiss, APR, Fellow PRSA. “These programs underscore PRSA’s commitment to diversity and to empowering our professionals with information that helps them better understand the rapidly changing face of America.”
The content of the breakfast programs will vary from city to city and will consist of Hispanic media relations and public relations measurement presentations or media panels with top notch Hispanic and/or multicultural media outlets. Multicultural public relations case studies, media contact sheets and other information will be distributed to attendees at each of the events.
“Our aim is to execute this tour with such excellence that it will become a legacy program for us with PRSA,” said Hispanic PR Wire President Manny Ruiz. “We are looking forward to strengthening our alliance with PRSA through this unprecedented national tour.”
All of the breakfasts are being coordinated by Hispanic PR Wire with PRSA Chapters and/or their multicultural program committees. PRSA Chapters that would like to participate in the tour can e-mail Natalia Flores at natalia@hispanicprwire.com. “
