“Mexican TV mogul Angel Gonzalez has bought 80% of Argentine broadcaster Canal 9 for an estimated $70 million to build a production base for Latin America.

Based in Miami, the low-profile exec paid $30 million in cash and assumed Canal 9s $40 million debt, much of it in default and owed to studios.”
