“Higher education officials are considering forming ties with a Mexican medical school to lure international students to southern Nevada to alleviate a physician shortage.
Community College of Southern Nevada President Richard Carpenter told the Las Vegas Review-Journal for a Monday report that a proposed agreement with Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara and four Nevada institutions was stirring excitement in Spanish-speaking communities in Las Vegas.”
