Latinas learn important life strategies at conference – Nevada

The program, Latina Professional Development, is sponsored by Nevada Hispanic Services. The women came together for different reasons, but were united by a commitment to attend several all-day sessions that will span six months. The sessions will focus on time management, effective communication, self esteem, Latina health, and financial and strategic management.
The program was started two years ago by Nevada Hispanic Services, and the curriculum was written by Estela Levario-Gutierrez, Truckee Meadows Community College Counseling Department.”
