Knowledge is Power!
“Comcast Foundation announced a $25,000 grant to the National Puerto Rican Coalitions NPRC College to Career C2C Program, which is a series of hands-on seminars and training sessions designed to better-equip students with the skills needed to succeed in todays corporate workforce. This commitment reinforces Comcasts initiative to create education and employment opportunities within the Hispanic community.
C2C is a seven-week curriculum that educates students on topics not typically covered in the classroom - among them, corporate hiring and interviewing processes and Latino economic buying power. After students have completed the program, they can take advantage of additional development services that will make them more marketable to potential employers. In addition to the professional training and guidance that students will receive, the program also will work to develop the technical and social skill set necessary for individuals to advance in corporate America.”
