“The Spanish-language Rumbo newspapers have again announced cutbacks, and this time their founder is stepping down as chairman and CEO.

San Antonio-based Meximerica Media said Monday the three-times-a-week Rumbo newspapers will now publish weekly, beginning this week. It also has cut 25 percent of its staff of about 100 in San Antonio, Houston and the Rio Grande Valley.”
