A As a whole, they lack representation in every segment of financial institutions. As minorities, we have never really been brought up to think of becoming a banker. Weve never had the leaders in place to show us we could be bankers or managers or owners of our own companies. Sure, we see a lot of restaurant owners or small business owners. We are encouraged to become doctors. But as a whole, many of the Hispanics here today lack the knowledge or the opportunity to go to college.”
