“ALIANZA LATINA DE Bí‰ISBOL announced today, that on its official website, www.eBeisbol.com , it is following Latin Major League Baseball stars participating in the Caribbean Confederation’s winter leagues in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela. Latin MLB current, former and future stars such as Miguel Cabrera, Francisco K-Rod Rodriguez, Ronnie Belliard, Yadier Molina, Juan Gonzalez, Richard Hidalgo, Vinnie Castilla, Willie Aybar, Edwin Encarnacion, and Anderson Hernandez are currently participating in winter league baseball. These players and others are making significant contributions to their clubs’ quest to represent their country in the 2007 Serie del Caribe Caribbean Series, to be held in Carolina, Puerto Rico, February 2-7.

eBeisbol.com follows all the action in the MLB sanctioned Caribbean Confederation leagues and tracks the participation of Major League players with weekly summaries reported exclusively by in-country writers. The Caribbean Confederation governs 28 professional baseball teams from the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela and manages the Serie del Caribe, a 12 game round robin tournament which determines a Caribbean Champion from the four countries’ championship teams.”
