“A $1,500 grant was recently awarded to the Springdale Fire Department to help produce a Spanish language commercial promoting smoke detectors.

Springdale fire Capt. James Hales said the grant will be used to implement a program to spread the safety message to both area and statewide Spanish-speaking populations.”
