“After tonights New Years celebration, the holiday season will cool down in most homes, but not in all. To many Latinos, there really are Twelve Days of Christmas, stretching from Christmas Day to Jan. 6, Three Kings Day.

Dia de Reyes, as its widely know in the Spanish-speaking world, is a day to reflect on the biblical story of the Three Wise Men who followed a star to Bethlehem to bring gifts to the baby Jesus. Its also a day for opening presents, feasting with family and honoring customs from the old country.”
