“A call went out into a downtown office building a few days ago — an announcement that had nothing to do with the typical course of business but nevertheless has become an annual ritual that has brought people together and speaks volumes of Christmas tradition, culture and diversity.

The “tamale lady” had arrived with dozens and dozens of that traditional Mexican holiday food item for the lucky few who had ordered on time, and a few extra for the stragglers who had missed the deadline.”
