It was her ability to speak Spanish, though, that three years ago allowed her to move into a position in the pharmaceutical companys information center, where she handles calls from Spanish speakers.
“Being bilingual is important, and for years I didnt appreciate that,” said Sparks, who is half-Puerto Rican. “But now I realize its marketable.”"
