Hospital offers outreach to Latinos - Charlotte

Peynado, who worked as a doctor in her native Colombia, visits churches and recruits volunteers who can serve as health ambassadors to teach other Latinos the importance of healthy living.

Its part of a Presbyterian Hospital campaign to build health ministries at local parishes in the Latino community. The hospital started a similar campaign in English-speaking communities two years ago.”
