Tagged: PennsylvaniaPosted on: December 20th, 2006“Dietitian RJ Conrad saw many of his Hispanic cancer patients refuse to eat.
Its not that the hospital food is bad – Ive eaten off the heart healthy menu before and its delicious -but its not what the Hispanic patients are used to.
Hispanic patients might order roast pork from the menu expecting a marinated and seasoned piece of meat and what they get is the American version – roast pork with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut.”
