“Political-science Professor Luis Ricardo Fraga, one of the most prominent Latino faculty members at Stanford University, announced Monday evening that he is leaving the Farm for a plum job at the University of Washington in Seattle.

The job at Washington includes a perk-filled promotion to full professor as well as administrative duties that put Fraga on the front lines of recruiting and retaining minority faculty members.”
