“Hispanics left reeling by immigration raids at the Swift meatpacking plant in Marshalltown on Tuesday now have some resources available to them.
Lawyers, religious leaders and lawmakers reached out on Friday night to console Marshalltowns Hispanic community.
Armondo Villareal with the Division of Latino Affairs hoped the meeting would out draw members of the community to support the families of those arrested during the raid. It was also a chance to shed some light on what happened.”
