Hundreds enjoys Hispanic Christmas festival – Beacon, New York
Tagged: children, Ecuador, Mexico, New YorkPosted on: December 17th, 2006“More than 250 men, women and children turned out for Beacons annual La Navidad en Nuestro Pueblo Christmas in Our Town festivities tonight at Rombout Middle School. The event featured Hispanic food, musicians from Puerto Rico, Mexico and Ecuador and crafts projects for children.
“Im here for the music, for the food, and to meet new people,” said Wappingers Falls resident Stephanie Jimenez, a native of Mexico. “Its important to stay connected with my culture.”"
