Three Latino Organizations Recognize GACLAS Executive Director With Award - Philadelphia

“Impacto Latin Newspaper, the Council of Spanish Speaking Organizations of Philadelphia Inc. Concilio, and the Philadelphia Multicultural Affairs Congress presented the 2006 “Mover and Shaker” award to the executive director of the Governors Advisory Commission on Latino Affairs GACLA for his commitment to improving the educational, political, economic and social status of Latinos in Pennsylvania.

“I am honored and accept this award with humility and a great sense of responsibility. I share this award with the many ordinary Latinos whom stories are not told, yet they contribute greatly to our state and national future,” GACLA Executive Director Norman Bristol Colon said.”
