“Wednesday was just the beginning of a long healing and adjusting process, according to principals and teachers in the Marshalltown Community School District. Following the immigrantion raid at Swift & Company, children around Marshalltown are asking questions.

Attendance was up from Tuesday at schools across the district, with an even higher than average turnout at Miller Middle School.”
