On Thursday, the 23-year-old aspiring juvenile probation officer was among more than 30 residents who graduated from the Long Beach Police Departments first Spanish-language community police academy. The 14-week course – also conducted at other times in English and Khmer – provides private citizens a glimpse into the inner workings and departments of the LBPD.”
