“Today, thanks to a $50,000 grant from the New Connections Fund of The James Irvine Foundation, Latino music lovers will soon find that they won’t necessarily need to travel down the freeway to Pasadena to become familiar with The Pasadena Symphony. Through a new program, entitled Latino Sinfonica, ensembles of orchestra musicians will travel to various communities throughout Southern California, over the next two years, to present a series of ten concerts designed specifically to reach out to Latino music lovers.”
